Woodi Ishmael Signed Pastel Portrait of a Woman, 1971
This original mid-century modern portrait on paper is hand-signed and dated 1971 by the renowned American illustrator Woodi Ishmael (1914–1995). Known for his high degree of technical finish, Ishmael's career spanned roles as an official artist for the U.S. Air Force and the sole courtroom artist at the Jack Ruby trial. This piece features a striking use of charcoal and pastel with delicate cross-hatching, presented in a triple-layered professional mount with a silver-toned vintage frame. A label from "House of Arts and Frames" is present on the reverse.
Dimensions:
Art Sight Size: 14" W x 17" H
Overall Framed Size: 21" W x 25" H x 1.5" D
