Chinese Carved Hardwood Cabinet

This Chinese export cabinet, handcrafted in Hong Kong in the 1960s, reflects traditional design and craftsmanship. The piece is constructed of carved hardwood and features hand-carved decorative detailing characteristic of classical Longevity Chinese motifs.
The cabinet measures approximately 47 inches high x 47 inches wide x 18 inches deep and retains its original finish and patina, having never been refinished or restored. Acquired in Hong Kong by the original owner and transported to Northeast Ohio, the cabinet shows minor wood movement consistent with age and climatic transition. Several joints have loosened slightly but remain stable, and the cabinet presents well overall.
Condition: Good vintage condition; original surface; minor joint looseness from age and climate change; structurally stable.
Provenance: Acquired in Hong Kong, early 1970s; original owner; Northeast Ohio collection.
