Contemporary mid-century modern mixed media wall sculpture by Modern Retrograde, purchased new in 2021. This dimensional wall piece features layered wood and painted forms in a custom colorway of mustard yellow, slate gray, warm tan, and walnut tones set against a textured neutral backing.
Inspired by classic atomic-era and Witco-style compositions, the design incorporates sculptural curved elements, geometric leaf forms, and minimalist black accent dots, creating depth and shadow play within a clean wood frame.
This piece was made to order in a custom palette not currently offered, making it a one-of-a-kind variation of the studio’s design. Professionally constructed with raised wood elements and ready to hang.
