This tradition started in the 1950s in the artisan village of Croix des Bouquets, Haiti. The circular piece of wall art is an example of the Tree of Life and features three hand-painted tropical birds in flight — each uniquely colored in vivid reds, greens, yellows, purples, and blues — bring life and movement to the darkened steel patina background. It is approximately 11.5" in diameter. Signed by the artist. In excellent vintage condition. See less
