We have an absolutely beautiful Hepplewhite style serpentine dresser for sale. It dates back to the early 20th century, most likely between 1915–1935. This piece is a great example of American Federal Revival furniture, inspired by late 18th century Hepplewhite and Sheraton designs.
The dresser features a serpentine front with three full width drawers. The drawer fronts are highlighted by contrasting veneer banding that simulates traditional inlay, a hallmark of Federal style furniture. Slender tapered turned legs give it a refined, lightweight appearance. This piece works beautifully as a bedroom dresser, guest room chest, entryway storage piece, or statement accent in traditional, transitional, and eclectic interiors.
Please keep in mind that this is a very old piece. It’s not going to look fresh off the line. That being said, I’d like to point out some imperfections for the purpose of complete transparency. There is scratching throughout. The insides of the drawers are far from pristine. The top has noticeable imperfections. There are imperfections on the sides and the legs. There are imperfections on the body of the piece.
I do invite you to zoom in on the photos. We do business with integrity but don’t always catch every tiny detail that a potential buyer may find significant. The ideal buyer for this is going to love the style and character of the piece. This could be the ideal addition to your space!
