A beautiful antique ladle in one of most successful (and popular) models from Christofle cutlery. It is a so-called "Filet" (or "Chinon") model. In Germany this model was known as "Augsburger Faden" and in England as "Fiddle & Thread".
The scale hallmark along with the "69" in a rectangular box indicate a production year of 1869. A stunning piece in excellent condition.
