During the two-week New Year celebration, incense is burned in Caishen’s temple (especially on the fifth day of the first lunar month), and friends joyously exchange the traditional New Year greeting “May you become rich” (“Gongxi facai”).

This sculpture is a piece of carved tree trunk. Intricately hand made by a master sculptor. Even the paint gives off such a rich elegant vibe. I believe that the piece would look amazing on a pedestal or as a centerpiece to an entryway. Absolutely wonderful piece of art! See less
