This antique 1920s tiger oak dining table is a beautiful example of early 20th century American craftsmanship. Crafted from richly grained tiger oak, the table showcases striking quarter-sawn figuring across the top and apron, highlighting the warm tones and distinctive patterning that made this wood so popular during the period. The design reflects the transition from late Arts & Crafts into early Art Deco influence, with its substantial form, gently rounded corners, and solid, architectural base. The table features two pull-out leaves that sit neatly beneath the top when not in use, allowing it to expand with ease while maintaining a clean, streamlined appearance. When extended, the leaves create additional surface space without disrupting the table’s balanced proportions. Well-constructed and sturdy, this piece offers both visual character and everyday functionality. Its timeless design and beautiful tiger oak grain make it a standout piece.

The finish displays surface wear, including light scratches, scattered marks, and areas of finish variation across the top and pull-out leaves. There is visible wear and finish loss along the base, particularly around the lower edges and feet, along with minor scuffs and abrasions throughout. The top panels show surface scratches and small marks consistent with decades of use (see photos). Structurally, the table is solid and sturdy, and the two pull-out leaves slide as intended and sit neatly beneath the top when not in use. less
