It is the years of constant use revealed in every ding, gouge, stain, and crack that enrich the character of this impressive carpenters' workbench from France. The 6" thick top captures ones attention. Please examine the close up photos to appreciate the aged patina, joints and old hardware. It has one long vice along the left leg which was a traditional structure. In the photo of the top, notice hole that served a purpose for the carpenter who originally used it, likely to attach other tools. The top of this table is approximately 15” deep, creating a narrow console with a great deal of visual impact (depth to outer vice is 21"). This worktable has been restored, so is strong, stable, ready to be used and enjoyed. Workbenches like this often serve as console tables in today's modern home.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed.
