During the restoration of the chairs, we reattached the original square aluminum spacers between the backrests of the Mohanie frame. … Read more During the restoration of the chairs, we reattached the original square aluminum spacers between the backrests of the Mohanie frame. This system gives the appearance of the backrest floating vertically. A structure was also designed under the seats to create the illusion of horizontal floating. The front legs are slightly curved.
We reupholstered the seats and backrests with finely woven Broom Yellow fabric. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
