This remarkable runner embodies the artistry of the Bakhtiari weavers of western Iran. What makes this piece truly special is its richly detailed all-over floral “Paradise Garden” design — a field filled with an intricate lattice of blossoming trees, flowering shrubs, and delicate botanical motifs. Rather than a simple repeating pattern, the composition evokes the classical Persian concept of a heavenly garden, symbolizing abundance, harmony, and eternal life.
