Known as the Brooksby Nicolet table it features a thick circular top constructed of Mahogany and Cerejeira, showcasing book-matched woodgrains. The reddish-brown woodgrain is framed by concentric veneer inlays. The large pedestal base is turned and centered by a large orb in a bold Neoclassical urn-style profile ending in a stepped circular plinth base. The finished has a chalky-cream tone with a refined intentionally distressed and crackled patina mimicking age. The top is mounted and secured to the base via a bolted plate. The result is a versatile table combining French Provincial, Art Deco, and Neoclassical influences with a unique color palette and profile. Theodore Alexander maker's plaque is present on the underside of the table. The table is sturdy and strong having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Theodore Alexander also produces fine furniture for Ralph Lauren Home and has shared many similar designs over the years.
