The chairs feature hand-crafted solid maple construction refinished with later updated upholstery in a stylish zig-zag chevron pattern. The dazzling fabric showcases gold, tobacco, caramel, and amber tones bordered by a decorative patinated brass nailhead trim. The chairs have tall French flat backs with a humped crest. The newer upholstery redux adds a modern take to the traditional French Louis design and profile. The legs are crafted with classical French 'Os de Mouton' style construction having serpentine stretchers and gracefully curved details. The large set strikes a sophisticated balance between rustic tradition and fresh visual appeal. The vibrant color palate adds a strong visual anchor to the dining room.
