A magnificent and deeply symbolic 20th-century Tibetan ritual implement, masterfully cast in bronze. This rare hybrid tool combines the Kartika (crescent flaying knife) with the Phurba (ritual dagger) handle. The blade issues from the mouth of a mythical Makara, while the handle features multiple deity faces, including the elephant-headed Ganesha, and is capped by the horse-headed apex of the protector deity Hayagriva.

Crafted with exceptional detail, this piece served as a powerful ceremonial instrument designed to sever ignorance and subdue negative energies.
