Its heavy, lived-in character and original paintings give it an amazing appearance. Both the design of the cabinet and the paintings are simple and primitive, but authentic and a typical example of folk art from the region. The cabinet is painted in a fresh blue color and decorated with flowers, mainly tulips. The cabinet has been thoroughly checked and professionally restored, with an eye for originality and character. The construction is solid, the painting is worn but preserved, and the patina has been retained. The crest has also been replaced at some point, although this was done a long time ago. The interior consists of a shelf, coat hooks, and a rod. The cabinet can be locked with a working lock. Old, sporadic traces of woodworm have been checked and treated. 187 cm high, 117 cm wide, 55 cm deep. See less
