An exceptional example of Danish functionalist lighting, this Kastrup Airport wall lamp was originally designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Copenhagen’s Kastrup Airport in the mid-1930s and produced by Louis Poulsen. Lauritzen’s lighting was conceived as an integral part of architectural space, prioritising clear, comfortable illumination, a principle clearly reflected in this robust, beautifully engineered lamp.
The design features a broad, concave painted metal reflector paired with a white opaline glass diffuser, delivering soft, glare-free light suited to both public and residential interiors.
