These feature round teak veneer seats over … Read more Rare pair of mid century Scandinavian three-leg “dot” stools marked Stalmøbler (steel furniture).

These feature round teak veneer seats over bent tubular steel legs — a classic, architectural Scandinavian modern form. The three-leg configuration is far less common than four-leg versions and gives them a sculptural, minimalist profile. It's my understanding the three legs are more stable on less flat surfaces, btw.

Both retain their original manufacturer label on the underside.

Condition:
Structurally solid and sturdy. Surface wear consistent with age including veneer loss along portions of the seat edge (shown clearly in almost overly-honest photos). One stool is missing one top screw (I put an imperfect replacement there for the photos); it remains stable and fully functional.

These work beautifully as occasional seating and side tables. They can stack so you can pull one out when needed, or sit it out like a sculptural piece in your living area.
