Ships ahoy! A pair of C.1960 ceramic table lamps signed 'ELC Du Nord' featuring Viking style ships and abstract sea life in shades of yellow, green, brown, orange and brick red on a creamy white background. The ceramics are mounted on ebonized wood felted bases and they are outfitted with standard bulb switch sockets and black cords. Though they are Scandinavian in style, apparently ELC Du Nord was produced in France. They would be perfect in a mid-century modern decor or fun for a beach house. The lamps were acquired from a Marvel film set liquidation. Everything is in working order though no shades are included.
Good condition with some light crazing to the ceramic surface and some wear to the wood base finish. The wiring works well. No shades are included.
Each lamp measures a total of 26" tall x 8"' wide x 8" deep. The stem and socket measures 6" tall from the top of the ceramic body and the wood base measures 3" tall.
