Up for sale is a rare antique 1901 pewter golf trophy/oversized mug.
This lovely 3 handle style trophy by Manning Bowman has a beautiful form with 3 dimensional crossed gold clubs mounted to the face.
The face of the trophy is beautifully engraved by hand reading.....
"HARBOR POINT GOLF TOURNAMENT CLASS C CUP AUGUST 19-24 1901
WON BY S.F. SEAGER".
It's in nice condition, has acquired a lovely patina from age, and measures 7 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall.
