Red-checkered café tables, striped awning, and coastal light create a charming architectural composition with strong atmosphere and sense of place.

Executed with confident ink line work and restrained watercolor washes, this piece reflects the European travel and architectural illustration tradition of the 1960s–1980s. The work is signed “Plant.” lower left and retains its original studio label on the reverse, confirming authorship and London studio origin (NW6).
