DESCRIPTION
This is a serious, old-world wardrobe — tall, wide, and built from solid wood with the kind of mass and joinery you simply do not see in modern furniture. Standing over 60 inches tall and roughly 48 inches wide, it was designed as a true primary storage piece, not an accent cabinet.
The exterior is clean and architectural, with wide plank panels, original hardware, and a warm aged patina that only comes from decades of real use. It presents beautifully from all angles and has the visual weight to anchor a room on its own.
Inside, the layout is unusually thoughtful for a piece of this age. One side features a vertical stack of solid wood drawers, ideal for folded clothing or accessories. The opposite side offers a full-height hanging compartment. A fixed vertical partition separates these two zones, keeping folded and hanging storage completely independent.
Mounted inside is a moveable interior mirror, designed to pivot and reposition as needed — a practical, period-correct detail that adds everyday usability without altering the exterior presence of the piece.
This is not decorative furniture pretending to be storage. It’s a true wardrobe from a time when furniture was built to last generations.

WHY THIS PIECE
Oversized antique wardrobes like this are increasingly hard to find, especially with a divided interior layout and movable mirror. It works as a bedroom wardrobe, dressing cabinet, or statement storage piece — functional, honest, and built on a scale modern furniture simply doesn’t match.
