This is genuine cut glass—sharp, brilliant, and heavy—not molded or pressed.
The base is anchored by a solid plinth of genuine Italian marble with an ornate cast brass pedestal featuring scrollwork and acanthus leaf detailing. Retains its original Underwriters Laboratories label (Portable Lamp, Issue No. 93,165) and Leviton hardware—markers of quality American assembly using imported components, in the tradition of high-end makers like Marbro or Frederick Cooper.
