Provenance: Palm Beach, Florida collection. Kahle was born in Blackwell Oklahoma and worked for 16 years as a steel fabricator and welder at an aircraft service shop for GE. In 1981 he decided to devote himself to just making fine art sculpture, primarily in reflective polished welded stainless steel. MAny great artists have worked in stainless steel as an art medium including Anish Kapoor, Eero Saarinen, Jeff Koons and Beverly Pepper. He has been commissioned for many large outdoor sculptures across the United States including by the University of Kansas and the Trust Company of Kansas. His work has been exhibited at the National Academy of Design and the North American Sculpture Exhibition. He has been selected numerous times to show at the North American Sculpture Exhibition as well as at the National Academy of Design in New York City. His work is represented in significant private as well as corporate collections both in the U.S. and abroad.
