Bruce Robbins, shows at Marlborough Gallery in New York City. born in Philadelphia, graduated from the Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture in New York City. In the mid-seventies, he broke into the art scene as a new image sculptor with a series of painted and constructed ladder and seesaw sculpture. By 1979 he was producing a series of pilaster and door sculptures, which combined sculpture and painting signaling the post-modernist movement.
