Aside from her exhibits in Israel, she exhibited in the Paris Salon of 1958 and was awarded first by the Women's International Artists. In the same year, she also had a show in London. She also exhibited in Switzerland, Italy, and the United States. she died in 1993. Ella Ra'ayoni, born 1915, Vienna, Austria. Died 1993 painter, Fashion Designer, Textile Collages. She studied textiles through her research on ancient costumes. In 1934 she married Shmuel Ra’ayoni, who was her teacher. In 1947 they traveled to Paris, France. In 1953 they joined the “Ein Hod” Artists’ Village in Israel. Teaching: WIZO School, Haifa, history of costume.
