Adding to its aged charm is the texture and multi tonal brown and cream hues of the pottery. The Tiki influence along with the double snake handles is inspired by Polynesian and Mesoamerican art, which is reflected in the brutalist design, characteristic of the 1970’s. The deeply carved or molded relief patterns depict stylistic fierce faces and intricate geometric or tribal motifs. In top of the pottery base is a pleated lampshade in a rich burnt orange, which glows vibrantly when illuminated. This lamp serves both a functional lighting fixture and a statement decor piece showcasing a blend of vintage and cultural artistry, making it a focal point in any room.
