These are one of those great bones, great vibe pairs. Carved and painted Swedish wood frames with needlepoint seats super charming, very “collected European cottage” energy. The frames are honestly the star here: pretty carving, soft patina, and that old-world feel that’s hard to fake.
The upholstery has wear (some fraying/tears on the arms and backs), so these are not precious museum chairs they’re perfect if you love character as-is or want a cool reupholstery project with a really good foundation. They’d be amazing flanking a fireplace, in a bedroom corner, or tucked into a reading nook.
