It is a prime example of the combination of cool elegance and captivating lighting effects that made the Space Age era so unique. The shade made of frosted glass is the striking highlight of this lamp: its surface resembles frozen water, refracting the light and gently scattering it in all directions. The shape is particularly ingenious – the glass curves inwards at the bottom in a semicircle, giving the light additional depth. The cable is housed in a simple, polished chrome cylinder, which is finished with three striking chrome screws. These technical details underscore the high-quality, almost industrial character of the design. Thanks to the special structure of the frosted glass, the entire room is bathed in a brilliant, atmospheric light without glare.
