Beautiful large ‘Gatto’ table lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, Italy, 1960. This iconic vintage lamp from the celebrated “Cocoon” series is crafted by spraying a soft, resin-coated polymer over a wire frame, resulting in its characteristic cocoon-like surface. Over time, the material has naturally aged into a warm beige tone, giving the lamp a gentle, atmospheric glow, even when switched off. Its organic, balloon-like silhouette makes it an unmistakable mid-century design classic.
Marked and in good vintage condition, with three small damages on the back (see photos).
