A fine signed 1980's art jewelry brooch.
Designed by Arman for Movado.
In sterling silver with 18k gold elements.
In the form of a heart shaped 8-string mandolin.
Secured with a pin and safety catch to the reverse.
Marked to each side of the neck of the madolin.
Movado joined with renowned artists in the 1980's to create several series of limited-edition watches and jewelry. Artists including Andy Warhol, Yaacov Agam, Arman, James Rosenquist, Max Bill, and the Brazil-born pop artist Romero Britto collaborated with Movado in these efforts.
This brooch is one of several designed by Arman for this series.
