Measuring 32 inches wide x 37 inches tall, this botanical print is signed, numbered and comes with a Certification of Authenticity. Blish is a master of watercolors and frequently painted flowers and here puts on a powerful display of roses and other florals in shades of pink, peaches, yellows, and cream with tiny shots of red and purple. Presented in a portrait orientation, Heaven Scent is triple matted, hand signed and numbered 69/950. Framed in gold, this licensed reprint from the artist's contemporary period is characterized by its emotional depth and connection to nature. Florals and beach scenes were Blish's subjects of choice.

Interesting trivia:

Blish's mother recognized early on that her daughter had talent - as a youth she'd loved to sketch and as a teen painted little designs on her saddle shoes and soon, everyone in her high school wanted similar designs on theirs. Blish had to hire five friends to keep up with the demand as the fad she originated spread all over town.
