Rare miroir totem, modèle Shibam 2, par Ettore Sottsass pour Glas Italia, Italie 2000.
A tribute to the iconic towers of Yemen’s historic walled city of Shibam, this totem mirror by Ettore Sottsass Jr. is a captivating centerpiece for any interior. The mirror’s design is inspired by the striking architecture of the ancient city, blending modern sophistication with historical homage.
The mirror is elevated on a plinth base of matte polished black granite, featuring a structure crafted from extra-clear mirror glass. The mirror’s perimeter is partially adorned with delicate white engravings, adding a subtle yet impactful decorative touch. Its sides are accented with two small red bulbs and one large white bulb, enhancing its distinctive design and transforming it into a striking illuminated piece.
