Pair of 1940s Josef Hurka Yellow Adjustable Shade Table Lamps for Napako
Pair of table lamps in yellow and white lacquered metal, with switch button on foot and a yellow adjustable shade that can pivot back and forth as needed. This lamp is one of famed designer Josef Hurka's pieces that was manufactured by Napako in the former Czechoslovakia throughout the midcentury period.

The manufacturer Napako (an acronym for Nástrojaři-Pásíři-Kovotlačitelé) was based in Prague, Czechoslovakia from the early 20th century through the 1970s. This pair features Hurka's strong geometric designs in metal and color.
Professionally rewired for U.S. electrical. Accommodates a single candelabra base e12 bulb. Includes 8 feet of new period-style white PVC cord and plug. Original on/off switch on cord. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
Wear consistent with age and use. Some age-appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.Please note that only one representative example is featured in the listing images, but all lamps in similarly good condition and present well as a set.
