A commissioned beautiful painting of a spring at the Saratoga Performing Art Center. The painting is titled "Charlie Spring". It's oil on masonite, painted in 1986 and signed by Anne Diggory.
Framed size: 33.5"L x 29 3/4"H x 2"D.
Weight: 11lb
The painting is in great condition. The frame board (not the painting itself) at the back has a painted X (please see last picture).
About the artist (quoted from Anne's own website):
"Anne Diggory lives in Saratoga Springs, NY, and frequently paints in the Adirondacks and on her travels to places such as Arizona, Alaska and Morocco. She graduated from Yale and has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University. She exhibits extensively in the New York and New England area and is represented by Blue Mountain Gallery in New York City. Her work is in numerous private and corporate collections nationwide, including recent purchases by the Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse, Phoenix Home Life in Albany, Bessemer Trust in San Francisco, and AYCO in Saratoga Springs. Her work has been featured in Saratoga Living 9/2014, The Adirondack Explorer 3/2015, American Artist 2/98, and Adirondack Life in 3/2015 and 3/99."
