The mark on the bottom … Read more This is a beautiful black and white transfer ware lidded jar by Mason’s Patent Ironstone. The mark on the bottom lists the item number as 81. It was likely made in the 1930’s. It would have originally been used as a tea caddy or small biscuit jar. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is light crazing on the surface due to age. The transfer ware pattern is sharp except for a small section of the lid. See less
