carmelo linciano was born in lecce and lives and works in lizzanello (province of lecce). He is a self-taught painter, and from an early age showed a strong interest in drawing. In 1971, he began creating his first oil paintings. He is also interested in printmaking, studying various techniques, and photography. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
