carmelo linciano was born in lecce; he lives and works in lizzanello (province of lecce). He is a self-taught painter who showed a strong interest in drawing from an early age. In 1971, he began creating his first oil paintings and developed an interest in engraving, studying various techniques, as well as in photography. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
