carmelo linciano was born in lecce; he lives and works in lizzanello (province of lecce). He is a self-taught painter who, from an early age, showed a strong interest in drawing. In 1971, he began creating his first oil paintings and developed an interest in printmaking, studying various techniques, as well as in photography. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
