carmelo linciano was born in lecce and lives and works in lizzanello (province of lecce). A self-taught painter, he showed a strong interest in drawing from an early age. In 1971, he began creating his first oil paintings. He is also interested in printmaking, studying various techniques, and photography. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
