melinda massaro, born in san pietro vernotico (brindisi), 1972, where she lives and works. She trained at the academy of fine arts in lecce and has been painting since the 1990s with an instinctive force and a pictorial sensitivity close to the state of the raw material. She works in lecce at the labar workshop and the tonda design gallery, where she combines painting and graphic art with research into local materials and contemporary craftsmanship.
