the chains and ceiling rose are also made entirely of brass.

malmö metallvarufabrik ab was a swedish manufacturer of electric lighting fixtures from 1916 to 1970.
from the beginning, it specialized in half-watt lighting and ship lighting. The company produced lighting fixtures from wrought iron and later also from metal castings. The range included ceiling fixtures, table fixtures, floor fixtures, wall fixtures, technical fixtures for offices and workshops, crystal chandeliers, and some special fixtures, such as illuminated signs and other outdoor lighting.
at the end of the 1930s, the company produced, among other things, artistically designed bronze cast fittings for the domestic market.
the company also produced lampshades in its own workshop.
