A pair of tall-footed candlesticks designed in the 1960s by Fritz Nagel in collaboration with the architect/artist Werner Stoff. These chrome-plated metal candlesticks were manufactured by the German company BMF ( Bavarian Metalware Factory ).
The design is known for its modular, creative form, which allows for various sculptural combinations by stacking or arranging multiple pieces. This lot is a beautiful example of such a sculpture, making it more of a work of art than a utilitarian object.
The set consists of 24 candlesticks (21 freestanding, 3 mounted on a base), 1 bowl, and a tall pedestal. Because it's modular, it can be continuously reshaped or even expanded. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising

misattribution
