this distinctive antique table lamp is crafted from an original plateelbakkerij zuid-holland (pzh) gouda ceramic vase dated 1928, decorated in the yozea pattern. Produced during a period of peak creativity at the gouda factories, the vase reflects the refined dialogue between art deco modernism and japonisme, a recurring influence in dutch decorative arts of the early 20th century.

the lower portion of the vase is finished in a deep, saturated cobalt blue, transitioning smoothly into a softer dress-blue midsection that creates a sense of vertical movement and calm. Hand-painted floral motifs—suggestive of stylized fans or blossoms—are rendered in layered shades of teal, lending depth and rhythm to the surface.
