Laurence Channing (American, b. 1942) is a contemporary artist known for his evocative drawings and prints, especially in charcoal on paper. He trained at Yale University, earning both a BFA and MFA, and has had a significant career in both the graphic arts and fine art worlds. His professional work has spanned publication design, museum exhibitions, and interior design for major institutions such as the Wadsworth Atheneum, Kimbell Art Museum, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
