This large vintage pendant lamp was produced by Lyfa, Denmark, and dates to the 1970s, a golden era for Scandinavian modern lighting. Lyfa, founded around 1924, is widely celebrated for its refined designs and high production standards.
The lamp is crafted from lacquered metal, in a beautiful and deep wine colour. The different layers distribute a pleasant light. This thoughtful balance of form and function is characteristic of Lyfa’s pendant lamps from the 1960s and 1970s.
