The model … Read more An original UFO/saucer pendant lamp, manufactured by the Belgian company Massive in the late 1960s – early 1970s.
The model is made of a combination of materials characteristic of Massive: brown body-tinted glass, a white opal glass ring providing soft, diffused light, and chrome details. The whole is suspended on an original spiral cord, typical of the brand's Space Age designs.
The form is inspired by the aesthetics of the space age, yet functional and timeless. The lamp is perfect for modernist, mid-century modern and eclectic interiors.
The piece is in very good visual and technical condition, with natural, minor signs of wear consistent with its age. Fully functional, ready for installation.
