This bronze statue of a trumpeter, depicting the legendary Miles Davis, is a fascinating blend of musical genius and late 1930s Art Deco aesthetics. Although the author is unknown, the work exhibits extraordinary dynamism and stylization typical of the period – capturing the musician in a moment of absolute focus and virtuosity. The statue is in its original, perfectly preserved condition and is mounted on an elegant marble base, highlighting its collectors value.
The sculpture was cast using the traditional lost-wax bronze casting method. This technique, known for being labor-intensive and time-consuming, ensures pristine quality and vivid detail.
