Each facet of the molded porcelain—excluding the base—is adorned with intricate, delicate floral designs. The interior of both the lid and the base are marked with the Chinese character for "three." The piece is finished with a period-correct pin hinge and a partially glazed base. The word CHINA is stamped in underglaze red in the center of the base.

MEASUREMENTS
5 5/8 in (14.3 cm) wide x 3 3/8 in (8.4 cm) deep x 2 3/8 in (5.9 cm) tall. Weighs 14.4 oz.

CONDITION
There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. The top panel on the lid is slightly concave towards the center. The brass on the mount has developed a nice patina, although there are a couple of discolored spots.
