HERMES GRONLAND light green silk scarf 1992 designed by Philippe Ledoux
This Hermes scarf is a tribute to Greenland and its inhabitants: the Inuit.
On one side are a bear and her cubs, and on the other, a child and two dogs. Three scenes of life in Greenland are depicted: an Inuit in a canoe, a dog sled, and fishing boats. A gradient of pastel greens evokes the cold, reminiscent of the icebergs depicted on the scarf.
