A fine antique Scottish sterling silver gilt George III period wine goblet, made in Edinburgh in 1810 by George Fenwick.
This very fine quality goblet stands on a stepped circular foot leading to a finely fluted central section and having a wide flared mouth, the interior retains all of its original gilding.
The goblet is in excellent condition and is of a substantial weight at 270 Grams, it is hallmarked with George Fenwick's maker's mark and the thistle for Edinburgh and the date letter for 1810. The goblet will hold more than half a bottle of wine.
