A fine signed Modernist gold & pearl necklace.
Attributed to Ed Wiener.
In 14 karat yellow gold.
With a cultured white pearl to its center and comprising 3 sections joined by handmade c-links.
Secured with a hook and eye closure (and an added safety chain).
Ed Wiener was one of the most important jewelry designers in post-war New York City. His form language contributed greatly to the vocabulary of 20th Century jewelry design, and his work is held in both major museums & important private collections.
